I had one for 16 years - after never being allowed to have one as a child. My mother REALLY didn't like cats, so we had every pet BUT... [grin]
I dutifully petted the BBQ shop's ginger tonight. She seemed aware that it was Her Day.
As 85% of ginger cats are male, she's quite the rare one!
