The laces are too perfectly balanced to be lace up. They’re likely either made out of a stretchy fabric that looks like leather or vinyl that you can just pull on, or there’s a zipper up the back. Just my guess from having worn tall boots in my youth.
I used to walk on heels that were at least that high. I regularly ran on cobblestone streets in them as well trying to run errands on my lunch hour. 🤣
I can't figure out who she is, but that man is absolutely one of the lovs of my life, Mr. Pacey Witter himself, Joshua Jackson. (Pacey, from Dawson's Creek, which I can't imagine you've ever heard of or care about, but was a very very important show when I was in high school!)
She's Anna Torv who played FBI agent Olivia Dunham in 'Fringe'. They were both in the same show. I LOVED it. A bit like a far superior X-Files with an actual plot & proper story arch.
I wore heels back in the 70's when it was fashionable... After I stepped in my turn-ups and almost fell down a flight of stairs I decided that maybe I was already tall enough (being one of the tallest in my school year).... A good decision I think! [lol]

DeleteI snapped more than one heel in those cobblestones before I got smart and switched to sneakers at lunch.
