Interesting and true. I have to side with Foucault however, who would say that armed domination is only necessary for a limited period of time. Once you establish the hegemonic order and get people to buy into the system you establish, they will dominated themselves...
*A toast* to G'Kar's sentiment, although now that Laura mentions it, I can see that pattern in America.
