Picture Time.
There's sometime about puppies that always makes me smile no matter what mood I'm in. I call them "Life on a leash" and are seen normally in the process of dragging a young child around in the attempt to explore everything - now! I cannot help but admire their enthusiasm.

My husband has a soft spot for Bassets. There's something adorable about the long face.
Man, what's not to love about puppies? I had a basset some years ago, and they're fiercely independent and loaded with personality. I'd be hard pressed not to take that whole litter home!
