dbackdad - Welcome back from your trip. Have fun? I'm not really a convention person but I was dragged along - though hardly kicking and screaming - to a collectors fair @ the NEC in Birmingham. They had lots of cool memorabilia, people signing stuff and weird people dressed up in costume. It was a lot of fun.
TF - I see you've started to settle in. Excellent. The first week or so is always rough in a new place. I'm afraid I've not see that movie so I can't possibly comment.

One of these years I might have to make it to the big one, Comic Con, in San Diego. It's not that far away.
That reminded me of the last scene of Disney's The Santa Clause.

Yes, I would have to agree, I was particularly taken with the Elven women in the Lord of the Rings movies. Very beautiful.
