This year its a bit of a perfect holiday storm thing going on.
I normally take my birthday off anyway (have done for the last 20+ years) so having Wednesday off was a given. As this year is a bit of a milestone I decided to take the Thursday & Friday too.
Then one of the guys I work with said why bother coming in for one day - Tuesday - as the Monday was an official holiday. Good idea I thought.
We're also given a certain amount of paid holiday each year (30 days in my case) of which I had 14 1/2 left. Our leave year starts on 1st May (don't ask) so I *have* to take 4 1/2 days holiday before then..... (as we can only take a maximum of 10 days over into the next leave year).
So I'm basically being 'forced' to take 11 days off.... [grin]

..and chill :-)
Just preparing to time travel, not too relaxing. But da Boss let me have a couple of days each end....before he jets off to Nairobi for two weeks!

Have fun in the 14th Century. Hope the weather holds for you!
Enjoy. I love the irony of taking advantage of an ostensibly religious holiday.
