Ah, the blissful futility of life, so it would seem.
Seriously though, life is fantastic and stuff. Except if you're a chicken. What with the 'Hey hope you had a lovely happy life, but now I need to kill you and eat you, hope you don't mind, ok thx bai!'.
If this was all there was to life, I think most of us would end it prematurely. I like all the spontaneous things that get thrown into the mix as well as the stuff we plan.

Indeed. I have had short periods like that - somewhere between 3-6 months at a time which was rather soul destroying (and exhausting). I couldn't do it week after week, month after month though....
Of course what the cartoon doesn't show is down-time like weekends, holidays and the like, plus things socialising @ work and everything else that helps you make it through the day.
I've also found that life improves when I'm not glugged to the boob tube all night every night. In fact I now hardly watch TV at all and have gotten into the habit of not switching it on from Friday afternoon when I get home to Monday morning when I get up for work.

It did make me laugh though because basically this is my life - except for the driving bit....
It's about time I did something additional...... or merely different!
