Ha. If only anyone in the Republican Party were really calling for sanity. I guess there are a few voices, but the Tea-Bagger lunatics are still running the show. But if that's what it takes to defeat them, then I can look the other way.
Indeed, though (as I've belabored before) even if I'm unlikely to vote conservative, there is surely a need for a sane, libertarian voice in our political discourse. (The so-called "social conservatives" can wane to extinction without a tear from me.)
Agreed. If you're going to have a multi-party system it makes sense that the parties of all flavours should be strong enough to stand up to each other and different enough to give the voters real choice rather than a fake choice in how their society is run.
