Most people are OK most of the time. I (and others it would seem!) just don't feel the need to constantly be in their company. I know several people who *really* can't get their heads around that one...

Not at all. There's already enough people out there who need other people around like the worst kind of drug.
I like my peace and quiet without the chatter and the need to please others. I need my space. I need my 'me' time. Without it I'd go bat crap crazy.
