Welcome to the thoughts that wash up on the sandy beaches on my mind. Paddling is encouraged.. but watch out for the sharks.
Me too. Is that a bad thing?
Not at all. There's already enough people out there who need other people around like the worst kind of drug. I like my peace and quiet without the chatter and the need to please others. I need my space. I need my 'me' time. Without it I'd go bat crap crazy.
This is completely irrelevant, but I thought you might like to know William Irvine (Ancient Art of Stoic Joy) just started a Stoic blog.http://21stcenturystoic.org/?p=200Or at least some guy claiming to be Irvine has!
I feel bad ... but this post is spot on. I have a great time with some people every once in awhile. But most of the time, this fits.
Thanks sc. I've checked out the Blog and added it to my personal favourites. I'll keep an eye on it.Interesting what he said about those with a cynical nature! I (and others it would seem!) just don't feel the need to constantly be in their company. I know several people who *really* can't get their heads around that one...
