I cried the day that happened. I couldn't tear myself away from the t.v. I knew I was witnessing history, and I also worried that the authorities would come in and stop it.
I remember watching it on the news and my friend trying to get me to catch the next flight to Berlin. Needless to say that neither of us actually went!
I have my fingers seriously crossed for the outcome in HK.

I've wished I had a layover in Hong Kong lately for the same reasons, though I suspect the outcome there will not be what is wanted. At least not yet.
