Of all the senses, they can virtualize smell last, thank you very much. ;)
Do-able, but difficult (and quite unnecessary for TV I think!!!).
I really only care about virtualizing the senses for video games, movies and TV, not so much. :)
Sound and vision (even 3-D) will do me for now.
I'd wager we are a very long way from anything else.
