I haven't been truly consumed by a book in awhile. 🙁 I've just started reading _Killers of the Flower Moon_ about the Osage murders. I doubt I'll get lost in that one. Books that I've gotten lost in are Outlander (series), Olive Kitteridge, and The Story of Edgar Sawtelle.

I have no issue *at all* to hiding in a good book or the concept of escapist literature. We need a BREAK now and again!

Bought 'Flower Moon' yesterday...... on impulse mostly..... [grin]
Just finished a 720+ page book (volume 1!) on the early years of WW2. I did lose myself in that more than once...
