@ Stephen: Rail roads? Quite possibly unique to the US. Not sure why though.... I guess most of the railways in the rest of the world had been constructed by Europeans - hence European usage?

@Mudpuddle: There's an island of Japan that's populated solely by deer. It may have been a tourist attraction even when this poster was produced.
