I own it but still haven't played it. I tried to get into Red Dead Redemption 2, I loved the first one, but the sequel hasn't clicked for me yet. I'm back into Fallout 4 again.
RDD looks pretty cool but it didn't really appeal very much. I left WoW because I felt it was becoming constantly the same. NMS is a very different game to my usual sort of thing. I'm definitely having a ball exploring the Galaxy. I was always poking around in caves in WoW. Now I get to poke around a whole planet for as long as I like.... I've seen things you people wouldn't BELIEVE!
Forgot to follow up on this. Although it was much different from the book, it's really admirable from a production POV -- the use of sound, especially. The last few shots are interesting...I did NOT expect that sudden jump to Jack frozen in the snow.

I watched The Shining on Halloween night for no other reason than its tribute in RPO!
I enjoyed the book and the film.
@ Stephen: What did you think?
@ Mike: Really enjoyed the film. Not read the book yet. Some day soon I hope!
It's a quick read, especially for a book ninja like you. ;)
LOL - Not much of a book ninja these days. I did manage to read a 700+ page book on my week off but that's unusual these days.
I used to read voraciously before video games became immersive.
I'm hooked into No Man's Sky (Next) ATM..... 240hrs and counting...... Hardly scratched the surface so far!

Things we wouldn't believe and may never even see due to the procedural generation. :)
