I've think I've been on that road....it's in several states. There's one stretch of road south of here there's literally nothing but asphalt and pine trees for a solid hour.
@ Stephen: Definitely not the place to have a flat or run out of petrol! A friend and I drove around the South island of New Zealand and it was amazing how EMPTY it was. Not a place to break down!
