I just heard this today on Sirius Radio. They were playing America’s Top 40 from today’s date back in 1979. It was number 1. The Summer of ‘79 was such an epic summer for me. I turned 16 and well, it doesn’t matter now, but it was a magical summer. 😊
I'm a BIG fan of 70's music. Not so much as 80's but its close.... The 70's were an odd decade - started as a child, ended as am 'adult' (legally anyway), voted for the 1st time... etc... The summer of '76 was epic here... I was 16 too..... but I'm guessing that my summer wasn't quite as magical as yours... [grin].
