It is Don Knotts, but now that you mention it, he and Steve Buscemi both share that bug-eyed look. I love Steve Buscemi's acting by the way. Did you know he used to be a firefighter in New York City? Immediately after 911, he put on his old uniform and just went down there and dug in trying to save people. He's a very interesting person with some really interesting movie script choices. My favorite movies he's done are: Ghost World, Big Daddy, Armageddon, and Fargo. He's done a ton of work! I just checked him on the Internet Movie Database and was surprised how many movies he's been in.
VV - I completely agree with all those movies ... even Armageddon. It's not trendy to say you like that movie, but I like it anyway. It has some nice actors and doesn't take itself too seriously.
Fargo is one of my top 10 fave movies. Macy and McDormand are impeccable. The music and cinematography are stunning. I come from that part of the world and it just nails the characters and ambiance of the upper midwest. You betcha!
