LOL! People are so ridiculous! Our State Court of Appeals hears the gay marriage issue in Maryland on Monday. I don't think we'll win, but with the Democratic backlash in this state from the recent elections, anything could happen.

That's funny. I've got a short political science essay about gay marriage I'm going to post once I have time to transcribe it. It makes some very good points. I'm learning some interesting things about the pro/con of gay marriage through the Queer Theory we're reading right now. The only thing that "suffers" when gays marry is the narrow definition we insist on keeping for "family".

I do *so* like the biting sarcasm of The Ministry of Homeland Security....

It still make me laugh, all that nonesense about an attack on family values.. I mean.. here are people who are *desperate* to get married! I mean, how can a gay couple possibly endanger a straight marriage? The 'logic' of the argument mysterfies me......

If the far-right conservative voters of my state Arizona voted down a gay marriage ban (the first such proposition to not pass), there is yet hope. At some point, hopefully, all people will see how truly silly it is to not let any loving couple marry.
