The squirrel appears to be road-kill [I hope]. The two 'gentleman' posing with it are 'Action Men' or similar childrens toys. The height of the kerbside kinda gives it away.. [grin].
Good photograph though...

I thought it was road-kill myself. Sad but all too common... though over here it tends to be hedgehogs & rabbits...
