Quote

We do not receive wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves, after a journey through the wilderness, which no one else can make for us, which no one can spare us, for our wisdom is the point of view from which we come at last to regard the world.

Marcel Proust.

So very true! Great Quote, CK!

About that gouse: I was shocked when I found out that this was a "spec" house....Talk about taking a chance...! Though the positioning of the house is certainly a wonderful one in terms of View----Still, here in Los Angeles people want their house to reflect who they are Sooo much that they usualy tear have of it down and "redo"...Renovation is just a given here...So, one wonders who might buy this house....On the other hand if you have 7 or 8 mill, I guess there is enough left over to 'renovate'...LOL!

Thanks. It was at the beginning of an interesting book on Buddhism I'm reading.
