Now THAT'S something for which I'll gladly take the heat! She's like looking at a puppy (well, the guys-only version): if it doesn't stir something in you, you're clearly broken!
Hey CK, I didn't feel like searching for your "To Have and Have Not" post but wanted to let you know I just finished watching it. I absolutely loved the lighting in it, I thought the chemistry between Bogey and Bacall was good, but the story left a lot to be desired, and what was with that little happy dance Bacall was doing with her hips at the end? It didn't seem right for her character. Oh, I also got a chuckle out of her calling Harry, Steve, throughout the movie.

Of course. Nothing we see 2nd hand is real these days... But still.... [grin]

I'm glad that you enjoyed the cinematography - that was probably the best thing about the film. The story certainly wasn't the greatest but I do love that movie - despite its faults. I think the 'happy dance' was probably in there to give the movie goers a smile on their way out of the cinema.
Yeah.. the whole 'Steve' thing was weird wasn't it?
My next fave movie is a little more modern and a lot more obvious... but that's for tomorrow!
