Several people posted this on Facebook this morning. Pretty well done, I think.

I find theists to be some of the most close minded people, though I'm willing to change my position if further evidence counters this statement :-)

Ali's response made me laugh. I really enjoyed this video because it went step-by-step through the various arguments in a logical manner and explained why certain conclusions either could or could not be supported. I enjoyed this because this was a good example of critical thinking. Most people I come into contact with don't think critically. They don't examine evidence, ask critical questions or think through any arguments. They take everything at face value and base their actions on superficial bits of information. I saw a lot of this in the election we just had. One faction would send mailers with absolutely ridiculous claims about what the other candidate would do if elected. It didn't matter that the candidate never said anything about the topic, it wasn't part of the candidate's platform, or that as mayor, the candidate would have no authority whatsoever to do such a thing. The simplistic logic of the people who believed the propaganda was that it was in print, so it must be true.

There's an opportunity there....

Most people don't. They should teach critical thinking in school - but it'd be too dangerous to the PTB.
