Well, it’s Official. I had an e-mail from my University a few days ago. I am now the (very) proud owner of a shiny new Masters Degree in The History of Philosophy. I think it’s about time I cracked open a bottle of deeply chilled champagne…….

Thanks guys! It was hard work but it was worth the effort. I'm confident that I'll spend the rest of my life reading philosophy..... and from time to time actually understanding it! [grin]
Woo-Hoo!!! Congratulations!! That's not an easy degree to get, what with all the reading and thinking, no really, you'd be shocked at what passes for learning around here for elementary education and communications degrees. Crack open the bubbly and have a good time! You've earned it.
Funnily I was kidding about the bubbly... but now I think I'll pick up a small bottle on my way home from work tomorrow.... [grin]
Another philosopher! I also have an M.A. in philosophy. You'll have to go get a new mailbox for when all the job offers start coming in.
