Not so sure about positive - that bloke looks slightly "Rescue me from this sex mad fiend !" in a crazy-eyed kind of way.
He does look a bit worried - but I'm erring on the side of anticipation rather than concern.
It takes a lot to shake a California town to its foundations. Wonder what she did that was so different.
Hard to tell what she did. Though this was published back in 1964 and they were still a bit repressed back then - even in California.
