I'm guilty of that, but usually it's me trying to convince M I know the obscure actor in question and then going to IMDB to prove my point.

Been doing that tonight ..."Who's that guy ? I recognise him""Ahh - Green Lantern dude" (although I actually recognised him from Blade Trinity)
