The idea that the rational world is dull shows a great ignorance about what science really is. I find it much more exciting to see the universe as a place of infinite exploration than to see it as a fake stage backdrop for some ethical game imposed by a capricious deity.
I think Karlo put it much more elegantly, but, yeah, when you stack up the list in the graphic and compare it with religion, one wonders why anyone would ever choose religion. But, I guess if they were rational, they wouldn't be religious in the first place.
