It's grotesque what is happening over here. We the people seem powerless to instigate change. Bernie Sanders is getting lots of crowds at his campaign events and people are giving him gobs of money to run, yet you wouldn't know that by how the U.S. media ignores him. It's like they only want to show the craziest candidates, or the corporate candidate, Hillary. Like it's a foregone conclusion that the money candidate will win anyway, so why even pretend there is any other choice.
You really have to wonder who's running the show is a country that sees itself as *the* premier democracy....
Oh, and you do seem helpless to do anything about it. Maybe something really, really bad needs to happen before people wake up? But why should it come to that? Imagine if you lived in a country without easy access to firearms and someone proposed what you have now - they'd be called crazy... especially if it was touted as a way to increase people's freedom!
I'm going to keep plugging away for Bernie Sanders. I've seen some Republicans saying they're leaning toward him too. Maybe we're overdue for a miracle.
