Welcome to the thoughts that wash up on the sandy beaches on my mind. Paddling is encouraged.. but watch out for the sharks.
Peace. I've actually been reading an old book at night before bed, and trying to cut my on-line time. I've also been removing the popcorn ceiling in our laundry room, skim coating it, painting everything, and soon I will be building a mudroom bench in there as well. All this amid the chaos of having our in ground pool removed, and tearing up the walls in our basement due to water seeping in from the leaking pool. It's always something! So I've been trying to read. I ordered an old book I've heard about over the years and always wanted to read, but never had, _The Search for the Girl with the Blue Eyes_ by Jess Stearn. So far I'm disappointed. I read another book he wrote when I was in my last year of high school and enjoyed it, so I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, he seems to be aimlessly rambling in this one. I will continue reading it though on the off-chance he'll get his act together soon.
Don't think I've heard of The Search for the Girl with the Blue Eyes by Jess Stearn....Presently reading 'Testament of Youth by Vera Brittain.Just coming to the end of both my 10 fiction and 10 non-fiction made into movies. Then back to the battles that made England (2 left) and 2 more on the Black Panthers.... Then 10 Random fiction (the last for a while) and 3 non-fiction on the less than special relationship and 3 on the dark side of the future... [lol] That should get me through the Summer and into the Autumn.
You are my reading god!
@ V V: LOL - Hardly. I just have time on my hands. Now Stephen, he's a reading GOD! He gets through over double my reading stack.
