This one bothers me for some reason. I think it's the juxtaposition of what looks like Plains Indian and the water scene -- the boat, the wide water, and the mountainous island in the back.

@ Stephen: Seemed OK to me.... You have some seriously big rivers carving through the Plains don't you? I think the river looks wider that it is because the contrast with the [dark blue(ish)] other side (not counting the range in the distance) isn't great. The Native American is probably thinking: Shit, Here comes the Future....

just read "A Gilded Age" in which Twain says they used to make steamboats as fast and as cheap as possible which is why they blew up a lot...
