...and I forgot.... AGAIN. My Blog was 12 Years old around four weeks ago on 16th October! Who would have thought I'd last this long? Not me..... [grin]
Happy Anniversary - Twelve years is very impressive for a book blog. I am approaching 6. I do not know if anyone I know has gone as long as you have. Your blog is super and I am glad that I found it. Here is to the next 12 years!
@ Brian: Thanks for your kind comments. Though I don't regard this as a 'book blog' as such, just as a blog by a book addict who blogs about what he reads...... [grin] Glad I found your blog too. Always something interesting to see even if I don't comment. I'll see if I can keep things going for another 12 years!
@ Fred: Thanks. I'm sure that I'll have things to interest you (and others) in the future.
i still don't know how mine will work out; in my experience, writing has a mind of it's own: i sit down to type something out and am frequently surprised at the direction my fingers take: often in a direction i hadn't planned on at all... but i'm tentatively aiming at a kind of combination between Fred and CK... but i have to say i wouldn't be doing it all, if Mrs. M hadn't done most of the technical stuff... it's as much her blog as it is mine...
If I'm writing something it does seem to take on a life of its own. The flow dries up if you try and force it - at least it does with me. My essays where always like that to begin with - pure stream of consciousness until I went back and edited it. Most of what I post here (of my own stuff anyway) pretty much goes straight from my brain, to my fingers and comes out the other end without any great editing involved apart from typo's and spelling mistakes.
