thank you and om mani padme hum to you... i studied zen pretty intensely for about five years, while writing about 900 Haiku (i won a prize for one from a Japanese monastery)... when i had a sort of satori experience, i quit doing it so much, altho, it's pov is a major part of me now... but i strongly realized that there's nothing to realize, you're already where you want to go... anyway, this is a very nice Buddha; we have one like it in the yard...
I LOVE Buddha statues. I probably have 5-6 in my house (together with quite a few Indian and Chinese statues too). I'm a sucker for that sort of thing. Both beautiful and relaxing. I've read a bit on Buddhism and have, generally, been very impressed by it all.
