@ V V: Yes, most probably. It looks like an element of the British 'T Force' who went ahead of the main force to grab enemy tech before anyone else got there.
@ Mudpuddle: Yes, it's a V-1.... Interestingly with a COCKPIT! I understand they had issues with early models so made a few steerable to find out what the problem was (no remote sensors back then!). Once they solved the problem they went back to being automatic.
If memory serves the test pilot was one of their best. They certainly sorted the problem which allowed the Germans to produce the worlds first effective cruise missile.
