i owned a '58, '61'64'67 bug it was green, red, brown, black and white... i went through a lot of engines: i'd go to the junkyard and buy old motors for cheap, take them apart and use the good stuff to build new engines... had a '58 bus, too... i'll really miss these... well, i have for years... my son has a collection of old ones; he's saving them for his retirement... the best car ever made, imo: fixable by anyone with a bit of research...

Beetles are great. Never owned one - never having ever owned a car - but I've been a passenger in them multiple times. A truly classic design.
