I started with Patrick Troughton (2nd Dr) but my favourite was always Tom Baker. Him, to me. was always *THE* Dr. I've dipped into the new ones from time to time (HA!) but they've never really grabbed me - or honestly interested me - very much. The new writers (IMO) just don't have the feel for it.

i loved the black and white ones: not so much the others... or at all...
