After reading SF for over 40 years I can't help but look around me, on the eve of 2020, and think just how PRIMITIVE things are. Where are the flying cars, the holidays on Mars and the personal jet-packs.... I feel lied to, let down.... robbed on a future I was promised by authors in the 40's and 50's.
i know how you feel... instead of universal health care we have ad-filled media featuring drugs that kill you... the older i get the more i see that Philip K. Dick was right...
