It did make me laugh a bit when the Russian authorities essentially implied that the ship *wasn't* hit by Ukrainian missiles - it sank because of the incompetence of the crew - SO THERE! Because that makes it SO much better...
Lol, right?! I am not sure which is worse in general, but obviously Russia would rather be incompetent than defeated - especially because we all know Putin thought this would be over within a couple days.
I think that the myth of the Russian 'superpower' is now VERY dead. I couldn't help think of them 'threatening' Finland recently, and the Fins are like: Come on then if you think you're hard enough (which we know you're not!) and we kicked your arse last time you tried to invade in 1939 and we didn't even have an air force back then, so....
