Ooh, I like that! Of course it wouldn’t look as lovely on my 60 year old back as it does on hers. I did get my first ever tattoo this year. My daughter designed it and tattooed it on me.
Cool, isn't it? I've *thought* about getting a tattoo (or two, apparently they're addictive!!) but could never zero in on a design I could live with for the rest of my life. It'd be something comparatively simple and/or geometric though........ I've seen some very good ones (both on people IRL and in shots like this). I think I've missed my slot though...
COOL that your daughter both designed AND applied it!
Usually not a fan of tats, but I saw one design on Saturday evening I kinda liked -- this waitress had butterfly or fairy wings on either shoulder blade.
I posted photos of my one and only tattoo. I thought getting something small would be cheating. You know, go bold or go home. So I got a good sized tattoo with a number of symbolic images for me. I can cover it with a short sleeved shirt so nobody at work would see it. https://myownzen.blogspot.com/2023/08/ck-heres-tattoo.html
That sounds like an interesting life... Has she thought of writing a book about it? I bet there's LOTS of interesting people/location stories she could tell!!

I think they can (and do) go too far sometimes - when people get carried away. But a tasteful or interesting one is at least a conversation starter.

VERY impressive! Your daughter is quite the artist!!
Thanks! She has a following and travels around the U.S. as a guest artist at various tattoo parlors. She really enjoys it.

No, she hasn’t. I’ll mention it to her.
