Doom was my first BIG gaming experience. I played it to death. I even played the network co-op version thanks to my friend at the time who ran our IT department. He had a 'build/evaluation room' in which he networked (I think) 3-4 PCs... So a group of us showed up in our lunch break and played Doom. LOTS of fun especially as we could speak to each other without the need for comms but couldn't always see each other. Made the whole experience quite real at times!!

Great music. By the time I tried it I'd been spoiled by FPSs with easier aiming/camera movement. I enjoy watching LGR's DOOM stuff, though.
