(In mid-late Red/Blue/Green Pokemon, the linearity breaks down a bit and it's possible to hit two gyms out of order. I usually do. Sabrina is so difficult I become obsessed with grinding to beat her, and then Koga is this "Ew, get out of my way" afterthought.)
Never played Pokemon, but one of my team did. She was just SO funny. A middle-aged housewife who could chat about GPS spoofing on her phone to capture rare pokemon's from other countries.... She was a total scream!
I DID do a lot of side-questing through. Much to the surprise of the Bosses and the annoyance of my friends... [lol]

Sounds like she was playing Pokemon Go? Never got into that.
Yes, 'Go'. I dabbled (on her phone) but it never interested me. She was OBSESSED with it though! I think her son got her into it.
