If I don't read enough after a while I start reading the backs of cereal packets just to get some words in my brain. When I first moved to my present location the nearest library was 7 miles away. Then they installed a small porta-cabin which had less books than my house... then (after *many* years) they built a proper one.
Same here, Kitten. Oh, the amount of cereal packets and the likes I have read. Even driving through a street, I have to read every word that pops up ahead of me. They have a library here. But they only have German books, mostly the bestsellers. Well, books in German, and I don't like to read translations. Luckily, I have a large collection myself and will probably never finish my TBR pile, so it's unlikely that I will ever run out of reading material now.

We didn't really have a library when I was little, so I read anything that I could get my hands on, including our only one-book encyclypedia.
