Scott Horton uses the Iraq War I, II, and III (Obama in Syria) convention as well. Makes sense.

Reminds me of that quote by Albert Einstein: 'I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.'

At various points in the last year+, I have wondered if it is best for just everyone to fire their nukes at once, we end this horrible experiment, let earth heal and start over in a billion years.

I'd like it if we went out with less of a bang and more of a whimper (or sigh). The way the fertility rates are dropping world wide we might be doing just that with luck!

The population drop should be noticeable in the next 50+ years I'm thinking - especially with abandoned areas and then abandoned whole towns in some places.
