I did something similar but nowhere near as dramatic. One of the big bosses asked me to explain something - I *think* it was about problems running some cabling. So I got out some LARGE architects drawings and laid them out on a near-by meeting table to explain exactly what the problem was. No dramatic swipe of the tables contents onto the floor though...! Table was completely empty... [lol]
I was very pleased with it. The boss asked a few questions & I *knew* what I was talking about. It was a good feeling not needing to 'wing it' or pretend to have more knowledge than I actually did.

Still, sometimes you can make a more dramatic gesture without dramatics.

Always good when you can teach your boss something. It just gets bad when you have to teach them all the time.
You have no idea how badly I have wanted to be in this exact situation for ages.
Its a classic move... I think a lot of people dream of something like that happening!
