I watched a Star Trek horror episode last night (SNW 4: The Griffin Incident) and it was VERY effective. I had to watch Trials and Tribble-lations just to get to sleep.
No black dudes, but Uhura did get chased and sliced by La'an, which was wild. La'an also punched out a dinosaur in a previous episode.
I like the new Uhura (although it did take a while to warm to her). La'an *ROCKS*, she's so much fun! Trials and Tribble-lations is one of my fave DS9 episodes.
