What a great comic! And it's probably true. If you changed just a few of the recognizable features of Christianity and then presented it back to people, most would probably find it extremely bizarre.

I think what you say is actually some of the problem with certain aspects of the Bible. Over the centuries copying errors have inevitably crept in (as well as revisions, additions and editing) to produce something quite different from 'the original'. Therefore parts of the Bible are indeed extremely bizarre.. especially when taken literally..
