I couldn't believe it when I heard recently that our Government had authorised companies to pay recent immigrants below minimum wages for jobs. That's State sponsored exploitation....! Then I realised... Oh, of course... Tories. Enough said...

It's the same everywhere. And look what happened to you guys after Brexit and the foreigners didn't take their usual jobs.

It made me laugh (oh, the irony!) when the Tories were talking about bringing in higher salary limits for LEGAL immigrants to try to reduce their numbers. Then had to backtrack because it would've eliminated LOTS of workers that we desperately needed...! Pure performance theatre on the Tories part. We NEED people coming here to work. Why not just accept the fact and get our economy humming along as we want it to!!

But they are good at making people believe they really care about them. Even if they do everything to help them. And I say the same, we need those people. Nobody who moans that the foreigners take their jobs would want those jobs. I help a young refugee to learn better German and her sister-in-law is working in a surgery. She said a patient complained that there were so many foreigners in their practice. I said, he should go and look for a doctor without foreigners in his office. Good luck. We should be thanking them on our knees for coming here rather than complaining about them.

I remember when the Brexit vote was done. We lost SO many Polish bus drivers that the company had to reduce its service. The funniest thing I saw was the driver & customer struggling to understand each other in English, only to discover that they were both Poles! As soon as they did, it was laughing & joking. VERY funny! But my morning bus often did sound like a meeting @ the UN which I thought was great. One of my fun games was trying to determine where people were from from their accents/language.

Some people only believe what their influencer tells them. They don't look around and see for themselves otherwise the election result would look different everywhere.
