One sign fits all.

Ms. M was commenting today that she thought corporate wars are going to be the next big international conflict... governments seem to have begun disappearing into the vast internet/ technological sea...

@ Fred: It still makes me laugh at how badly drawn most protest signs are.... Don't this people have printers at home or available to the public?

@ Mudpuddle: Corporate Wars were, naturally, a common theme in 70's SF (have you seen the original Rollerball?). It wouldn't totally surprise me if they were already fighting each other outside the stuff we see in the courts, on TV adverts and on the Stock Exchange. I bet there's some real fighting in the shadows.

Mudpuddle--corporate wars replacing government wars--a theme in numerous SF stories.

CyberKitten--protest signs that look professional? Don't trust those as I wonder what group is sponsoring this "spontaneous outburst."

@ Fred: Corporate Wars were a perennial theme in the 70's and early 80's SF. I wonder what happened to that idea?

I see what you mean about professional signs. I don't really like it when I see hundreds of signs exactly the same. But if I was producing my own sign (despite having reasonably good handwriting - being of an age when they taught that sort f thing in school!) I'd print it rather than hand scrawl it. Legibility and all that jazz....

I always liked, "if you're not outraged, you're not paying attention."

Unfortunately for my stress/anger levels I sometimes pay *too* much attention to what's happening in the world.

Me too.
