OMG CK... I just read your comment through. That's awesome.
We even disagree on Star Wars/Trek
Personally in Trek I think Data > Spock, but that's who I grew up with.
Excuse my 'nerd out' but I own a library of sci-fi/fantasy, a few complete sets of D&D edition manuals, two computers I built myself and a laptop, and three video game systems.

It's one of those defining questionds: Star Trek or Star Wars... Country or Western and so on.
I actually never liked Star Wars - though I liked bits of some of the films. Quite a bit of Star Trek is pants too - but some of it is very good indeed. Not sure if I'd like to live in Rodenberry's rather bland sounding Universe though!

Well... I have hundreds (probably several thousand actually) SF books with a smattering of fantasy (as you can tell from my book reviews), never played D&D though have played a few fantasy computer games, upgraded several computers & don't own any games systems.

[laughs] Always a surprise @ my place....
I'd be rooting for Spock of course... Reason Vs Mystercism... No contest really. Not forgetting that Spock is a childhood hero of mine.
LIGHTSABER OBI-WAN.... USE YOUR LIGHTSABER! Cut his DAMN Vulcan ears off... see if he thinks THAT'S logical!
=)
Not too big on the Trek (though I’ve watched enough to know what the mind-meld is) but I know my Star Wars… and lightsabers rule.

HAH!! Thanks for tickling my funny bone. I need to print this off for a nerdy friend of mine.
