Oh? I thought it was pretty amazing - though you have to worry about someone taking that much time and effort over something as ephemeral as a Halloween pumpkin.
It is indeed a Predator from the movies. I think they take their masks off purely to show off the abilities of the make-up department.

Now that's just too gross! I hated that critter when he took off the mask in Predator. I assume that's what this is?
