I'm not at work - not having worked on my birthday in 23 years I'm not starting now! I got up late, been listening to music and generally pottering about. In a few hours I'm off to a meal and cinema visit (Suckerpunch) with friends. Tomorrow (another day off work) I'm treating myself to a shopping trip - plus art gallery visit - to London.

Just got back. 'Sucker punch' was definitely..... different! Overall the jury is still out. The fantasy scenes were amazing and I did love them. The stuff tying everything together though wasn't quite so good. I think basically its a movie aimed at 12 year old boys - which is not necessarily a bad thing... [grin] It'll make my Bronze list for the visuals alone (and the great sound track) but I'm going to have to think about it a bit more.....
Unfortunately because of time constraints (as well as getting lost) I never made it to the Gallery. I did however pick up 5 books and 3 T-shirts from my favourite SF bookshop.... [grin]
