Part of the reason I didn't vote for Obama in '08 was his vote as a senator supporting a great wall to be built between the US and Mexico. I thought it was the stupidest waste of tax money imaginable. Even if people were like video game characters and could not manage to get around the wall on their own, it is not as though citizens of the US can claim any "right" to this land but that of force. Mexicans are merely reclaiming the lands of their ancestors which were taken at gunpoint. ;)
The whole idea of a wall is kind of weird (and pointless). If the *Berlin* wall couldn't keep people out of the West I doubt very much if the one on the Mexican border will!
